IT Lab Celebrates Six Gold and Two Silver Microsoft Competencies

IT Lab is delighted to announce our new status as a Microsoft Gold and Silver Partner across a broad spectrum of Microsoft specialisms. Gold is the highest accreditation Microsoft grants an independent technical support provider, with silver demonstrating proven capability.

As Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President for the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp outlines: “By achieving a Gold competency, partners have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment to the latest Microsoft technology. These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top of our partner ecosystem, and their proficiency will help customers drive innovative solutions.”

Sanjay Mistri, IT Lab’s Vendor and Alliances Director commented: “I’m thrilled with this accolade, which underlines our service obsession. Earning a Microsoft Gold or Silver competency begins with our engineers, who must qualify as Microsoft Certified Professionals before specialising in their preferred competency. There are many strands; it’s not just saying we can do it, it’s verifying it. For example, demonstrating our capacity as well as our ability to deliver successful projects.

“This involved a near forensic review of our performance and analysis of numerous measures, including service consumption, revenue and customer references. I’m proud of everyone involved and delighted at what this means for IT Lab’s clients, both present and future.”

The competencies awarded to IT Lab are:

Gold Enterprise Resource Planning

Skilled in Dynamics 365.

Gold Cloud Productivity

Optimising the cloud.

Gold Cloud Platform

Modernising infrastructures with Microsoft Azure.

Gold Datacenter

Proficient with scalable, flexible and cost effective infrastructure.

Gold Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions

Unrivalled cloud knowledge.

Gold Collaboration and Content

Deep understanding of SharePoint and OneDrive.

Silver Enterprise Mobility Management

Mobility and security proficiency.

Silver Messaging

Accomplished and skilled in Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online.

Another Landmark in IT Lab’s History

Peter Sweetbaum, IT Lab’s CEO added: “Some technology providers have one or two competencies – eight is a stunning achievement, thanks to our talented engineers and dedicated management team. Qualifying for these Microsoft competencies positions IT Lab in the top 1% of Microsoft Certified Partners.

“As well as showcasing our abilities across the core Microsoft suite, I hope it instills the trust of those we have yet to have the pleasure and responsibility of supporting.

“Our relationship with Microsoft also means that our clients can tap into expertise that, independently or with a different provider, they would be highly unlikely to have such close access to. This is another landmark in IT Lab’s history.”
